tomato sauce

this got the best of her. she was easily amusing herself for the first time tasting the tomato sauce! she wanted the both of us, well myself and uncle nash to lick it off her finger. very unhygienic, but maybe for her it was; "sharing is caring"! hehe, if you're wondering, none of us had it! so she used the spoon to get us to try it.

this is new for me, blogging while munching away at this hour. i was suppose to give up on all these binging issues, but i can't help it... food and me is the epitome of bff.

although today was suppose to be the starting of my working day i had to put it off for the moment, actually i'm not even sure when i'll be able to get back to work. see my dilemma is that i do not want to send baby A to nursery but to be taken care of by her kakak; and here comes the big issue - the agent that was suppose to get her documents sorted out 2 months ago is stupid and a liar! i mean the promises he makes and the dates he sets are all just purely cock and bull stuff.

anyhoo long story short i think she's only arriving on thursday, so yeah lets hope so.

i've been dreading the fact that we've been eating outside for lunches and all, not that i think my food or cooking is any better, but it is nice to eat home cooked food once in a while... so early in the morning, for baby A i managed to whip up 'pancakes' for her. then for lunch made 'sambal ayam' using only 1 fresh red chilli and lots of onions, and 'mackarel with taucu' with a side dish of broccoli & carrots for us both... was worried if she might not like the taste of these dishes but thank goodness she's got the flair for food too! phew.

then i decided, okay i might as well make full use of the time i had in my hands... took her out to o.u. and checked out some outlets for some last minute shopping before the sale ends! found cute little sunnies for her from parkson, absolutely love it; and more clothes, what else?!?

note to self before entering the mall was, only to window shop and head to the supermarket. that was totally what i had in mind, but i went totally astray! eeeeek!?!? what is wrong with me? don't the word 'self control' mean anything to me anymore?

in my defence i bought all these for her... that should count for something right? i didn't splurge on myself...

yada, yada, yada - had baskins and fought with her over my share, then headed home. pretty pleasant day.

before dinner we planned to go the market to pick up some goodies, that didn't go as planned as well... damn it, i've been neglecting my priorities!

hoping for a better planned day tomorrow. g'nite.

i was frantic. when i saw my baby girls face was bruised and had swollen lips! without asking, i grabbed her into my arms, hugged and teared and cried. i was mad and furious at my maid, not because it had happened, but because she did not inform me right away, had only waited for me to come home to deal with the situation! i was frustrated. i know it happens as this is a learning curve for our little ones. i know that i must learn to accept that accidents do happen... as much as i hate it. 

she's pretty active or shall i use the correct term in malay, "LASAK"... for her own good, however it was a heart breaking sight.

i'm glad she's healed well and nicely over the days, alhamdulillah. 

even after going through the pain and shock for her, she did not give up... she still went on and on like her little active self - crawling and making it possible for her to stand every opportunity she gets. that's my little bub alright.

you can cook, blend, reheat & defrost - it works like our microwave but it looks like a food processor. gotta thank my dear friend niney for introducing it and feroz for bringing it back :)

just a lil update

work has been hectic, no not me servicing our clients what so ever... just hectic in the office... suddenly from an account exec i'm currently helping out with the finance and hr paperwork. then i was informed yesterday that i will have to monitor the traffic of work that comes in and out of the office! does that mean i'm up for a promotion? *i sure like to think so!*

it has been a good year since we have started our agency, alhamdulillah. it gets more and more challenging; but i have improved my skills now, not only i'm good at talking (either it makes sense or not it's totally out of the question ok!) i'm learning how to use new design softwares! weee-peeee, so prouddaaa me!

okay aside from all boring stuff bout work, my baby had her first biscuit on her own today! hee... such a nice side, and i think i'll be making her rice porridge real soon. can't wait.

was at the gym yesterday despite having a slight fever and a bad sore throat, i just had to sweat it out and hit rpm! gila i just love the adrenalin rush! so fulfilling... and i just hope i could lose these couple of pounds, haha wtf who am i kidding, these few kgs!! blergh. wish me luck.

just heard a great news from down under! my girl friend gave birth to a baby girl who weights a tiny 2.7kgs at 420a.m. alhamdulillah! happy for her... 'congratulations darling! you have a beautiful journey ahead of you..."

i believe its 1-2 weeks earlier than expected.

had a lovely afternoon yesterday, auntie lala came by and we had our updates and all, then uncle hadi joined for a short period of time too! yes lovelies, soon we'll go to ss2 yeah? or you can always tapau! hihi, as planned.

aira was cranky last night for a short period of time, then she slept at 11p.m. after mommy nagged! hubs was laughing and said, "haaa... finally mommys nagging or shall i say, kena marah ngan mommy..." i wasn't angry, i was sleepy.

as i was feeding her, i feel asleep with my mouth wide open! and hubs laughed at me... haha... yes i should feel all kinds of silly but i was tired and sleepy, can you blame me? :P

i didn't have much to do today, but i had loads on my mind. too many questions remained unanswered. you know the usuals, life, doubts, friends, work and everything else... sometimes thinking too much doesn't get you anywhere, but cloudier/cluttered/messier!

thinking i should be de-cluttering my mind this weekend, suggestions?
