over the weekend

saturday 28.02

a good friend niney invited my fam and i for a photo shoot session, but we'd have to be their "guinea pig" cause these photographers were some sort of newbies. i could not care-less, hehe i jumped at the opportunity when she invited us!

so, at 9 a.m. aira was ready, then hubs and i packed everything and made our way there at 945 a.m. to bangsar that is... the house looked pretty cool, they had set the whole mumbo jumbo before we arrived. there aira was introduced to little sweet maya faith who is 8 months old and isaac who is 7 months old!!

having 3 babies in one house, you can imagine the whole ruckus we had caused!

the main photographer told his little minions that taking pics of babies & toddlers is by far the most challenging tasks for them! and we brought 3!! heheh... i was having a blast though, hubs wasn't feeling too good but he stayed til we had our first family picture taken :) can't wait to see the final product (although i know i'll look like some orang minyak, due to my little dyne-dyne being extremely active behaving like a boy!)

we left by 1215 p.m. and headed to giant kita damansara, yes i'm becoming a bit more kiasu now cause i look for which hypermart is having promotions on them PAMPERS! we can save quite a bit out of my being kiasu and all. hehe. we had lunch, and i was pretty glad to find JCO there! finally, after donkey amount of time they have opened their shop here, that was my first time eating it in KL! loser huh? hehe... i'm just not that keen to line-up and pay, but hey, i guess the craze for them donuts is almost done. lucky me.

sunday 01.03

was looking forward to lunch today, so we headed to BV and met up with my in laws. today, i totally noticed my daughter is extremely 'sombong' seriously!! for that period of time that we were there she just refused to go with anyone of them... except for when my sister in law carried her and i had to entertain her by singing or something! it's tiring dowh!!

i guess she's in that phase now.

hope it gets better, seriously!

monday 02.03

hooray! today i baked sweet potato and mixed it with a little warm water to dilute it a little, then i fed her, without any rejections!! i was so happy, she loved her sweet potato... i guess babies love anything that is sweet.

the challenge will be obvious i guess when i start feeding her the green veggies - broccoli, peas, etc! can't wait.

she'll be 6 months old this friday, and we're taking her to penang for the weekend. she'll be having a lot of her very 'firsts'.

i think i'm just going to renew our passport and go for our next getaway trip right after! no planning needed, just let spontaineity do its job!

i need a breakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk! like serioussssly, need it!!

progress report

yesterday we learned few new things from aira, since she just turned 2 months and 3 weeks old, she's able to 'mengereng' all on her own... okay for those who do not understand that word! shame on you! its when an infant lay down on her side without any assistance!

she was not only trying her very best to do that, but today she's been extremely talkative! it was hilarious, we had a good conversation for at least 10 minutes! then i guess she got bored talking to me, because she knew i just pretended i understood her. my maid was having a ball of a time laughing at the both of us.

today she's finally giving in bit by bit, in the morning she let the maid bathe her, then in the eve wipe her before changing her to her jammies, then after feed her milk! good progress huh? alhamdullilah, i hope it'll get better!! as i have been invited to 3 weddings (hafiz/nov, putri/dec, & ayin/dec) and i don't know how in the world am i going for these occassions if the little one does not detach her self from me!

i'm making sure, slowly but surely...

we're suppose to go for our first family trip this saturday to malacca, but we decided to cancel it as hubs might be busy with work, to just pack up our stuff and go? hmm... tempting but can't. so we discussed and thought maybe it'll be good if we stayed in kl, somewhere where we can take aira, then i thought why waste money! plus i don't want her to miss her music class on saturday!

wow, the predicament. tee-hee.

i do have photos of her on my phone doing all these new tricks - the most adorable is her discovering things she could do with her tounge! she likes sticking it out now, simply irresistable. if only i know how to upload it from my phone. well, til then we'll just have to wait til i could snap it with my cam. boo!

last but not least, i totally miss my lovelies! you know who you are, its been a while... i think its about that time that we meet up at the curve for coffee or dins? what say you? missing you guys so so much!
