yada-yada-yada, aside from what others have to say about malaysia and our crazy politicos! i'd like to take this opportunity to say 'happy 51st merdeka to all malaysian citizens!'
however, we were annoyed that the fireworks that was blasting behind our house at 12a.m. which i was just about to reach my REM (deep sleep) it went te-ba-bom!! thank goodness... after 5 minutes we managed it just fine.
i'm also keen and excited that we will be embarking into our holy month tomorrow insyallah... bulan ramadhan. a little disappointment, is that i won't be able to complete my fast for 30 days, but i will be rewarded with the most precious gift from Allah almighty, insyallah... in a couple of days time.
am extremely greatful for everything. alhamdulillah.

new found love
bought aira's carrier yesterday, thank goodness for the 25% discount! well worth it. then we discovered something new we'd love to have in our collection. however after serious consideration, we'd have to save up a couple of months in advance before we decide to purchase the chair!
i highly recommend that you take a good look at this extremely good looking chair. it may not be as worth it as you think, but aira's able to use it til she's over 36kgs!! how great is that? haha... and yes i'm not saying that i'm going to turn my daughter into some obese kid, its just that she's able to use it til she grows older. capische?
the retail price for this chair is approximately RM1899! haha... that is why we'd have to save a few months in advance. however, i've already given a heads-up to her uncle, so who knows he might be generous enough then to contribute for it.

things you have to go through!
usually i get either compliments or criticism from people especially during my pregnancy (but hands down i think its more on criticism!!) most will ask me if i'm carrying a girl, and when i say 'yes' they'll say ohhh... no wonder, your skin color is funny, or discolored, or you really look tired and pale all the time... bluegh!
its pretty disheartening!! or shall i say menyakitkan hati, dah la you put on weight and people comment on that too! tsk tsk tsk...
however, just now while hubs and i were having dins, we were looking at this little girl who was having dins with her grandparents! she's extremely adorable and she speaks really well... however, we smiled and made eye contact and all... i just love looking at their bond, between the grand parents and the grand child! i would loveeeee for my chubster to be close to hers!
when i stood up she looked and gasped, put both of her hands on her mouth and said "ohhh, so cuteee!!" then looked at me and asks, "is that your first?" i smiled shamefully, nodded and said "yes..." and again she complimented me. seriously 'grandma, you really made my day!!'

was at the hosp earlier, and spoke to my other gynae at assunta hosp about baby's estimated due date (edd) and our birth plan aswell... well at least bits and pieces of it.
baby grrrl is approximately 3.1 as of today! my my she has grown so fast within a week! and her femur bone is approximately 3 inches. long huh? who knows she's going to have fabulous legs like heidi klum or gisele bundchen! haha... she'd make a killing then huh?
oh well, i'm just cracking jokes as my days are nearer and i'm getting more nervous and anxious!
met dahl & hadi for tea, thanks for the prezzies lovelies! seriously you didn't have to... but its well appreciated none-the-less.
anyhoo, hubs and i spoke to each other and just in case if i don't deliver before the 8th which was the initial edd, then we're going to induce it on the 8th... hopefully all goes well...

just finished dins at fatty crab. although it was only the 5 of us the bill came up to RM240! haha... we ordered practically all that we could think of except for those yucky century eggs.

walked into the doctors room, and she had a bright smile on her face... didn't know if i did anything wrong, i smiled and said good morning! she said good morning dear... how are we feeling today? how's the baby? i said we're both good... she asked no more false alarm? *blush*blush* nooo... i answered her... tee hee.
walked over to the weighing scale, and i'm stagnant @ 9 kgs. then she asked me again the 1,000,000 dollar question, you're not dieting right? smiled and said nope! eat every meal, on time, every time!
then she scanned my baby grrrl, alhamdulillah all looks good and ready to go. then she laughed, and said your baby girl is pretty chubby! haha... i find it pretty funny that everytime we go to the docs there's always a story to tell about my little poochie! doctor mentioned something about the baby having 3 layers of god knows what, we laughed and laughed cause for a tiny little girl who only weights 2.8 now, she's pretty chubs!
a heads up to those who's planning to get preggers or almost due, you will know when you're in labor when:
1. your contraction hits almost every 10 minutes, with of course the cramps and the whole mumbo-jumbo.
2. when your water breaks, a bit on the obvious side. please don't decide to go do your last minute shopping.
3. when you're staining, and make sure you know the difference... according to the docs it could come in 2 ways, similarly to your menstrual cycle or when it actually bleeds. please learn to be a bit more observant.
and the rest we spoke about was, the hospital bag, best to have these items in it:
1. toiletries
2. bath and facial towel
3. sarung/long pants
4. tops/t-shirts with front button
5. slippers
6. socks
7. air selusuh for us muslims... even the doc advised me to have it by my side during my labor. how cool is that? she seriously rocks!

10. disposable p's
11. nursing bras
12. lotion/cream for the external body parts
*think that should be sufficient*.

uneducated nut!
yesterday as we arrived at the gardens, i wanted to slap kaw this guys face. that numb nut is seriously uneducated. as we entered the carpark we saw a car reversing, therefore instead of blocking the traffic we decided to wait after the slot, and signalled to the right waiting for the car to leave. only to learn this other paria waited at the back, and with all selambaness he just drove his car in.
with my crazy ass hormones raging, told hubs to reverse and have a word with him... we honked and all, what he said was, oh you were waiting in front that means you missed the car park slot, you might as well just proceed as there are other parking spaces. we said we signalled and that was ours to begin with. he and his stupid hand gesture, no you go in front, i already park! his young son was seated at the back witnessing the stupidity of his father, i hope he does not turn out to be exactly like his dad. please little boy if you're reading this, have some common sense. feel free to use those things we're gifted with called brains, and yeah you could tell your dad that it is functional for all human beings.

the game
yesterday there was another game for the blondies at sports planet subang 11 court. well since they're the defending champs the pressure really got to them i guess! however, they played a rather good but a tensed one.
the boys won 4-3 against united fc, extremely young guns with high stamina, it seemed like they were toying around with the blondies as for fitness wise... in the early part of the game, they almost had a fight which is rather common among these futsallers (don't know if this word exist but heck i just felt like using it), only god knows why... oh well boys will be boys. oh yeah, hubs saved a shot but somehow dived and had a slow reaction to covering his face, therefore his nose almost bled due to the 'rembatan' yang sangat kuat di depan goal! poor dude. he was replaced by syed, and he played an extremely good game til the end.
i was in awe playing with delia (everytime i felt nervous)... a sweet little princess who is less than 2 months old! so extremely sweet and cute. she acknowledged every time her father speaks to her... according to her mummy, her daddy is her talking partner... cute aye?
babies are fantastic, they're extremely smart! can't wait.
after the game, we headed straight to devi's taman tun, seriously i think we should get some shares from them... it is almost like every other night we're there! got home about 2 a.m. i was already sweating like a pig when it was 130 or so, imagine how uncomfortable and yucky i felt! bluek.
think this week would be my last week for any sort of outings! next week is all about nesting...

all 3 days

decided to join the rest of them at ss2 to celebrate hani's dins, got the text from byron a couple of days before... made our way there, met 'ze bday' girl! she had the lala and pretended that was the bday cake! ehhe... sorry hun, it really didn't cross my mind, should've gotten you one of those cute cupcakes or muffin! then d arrived with her bro johan... extremely decent chap! told her to be careful, coz hani has set her eyes on him ages ago! haha... she said can, nanti aku 'bedebom' dia! so cute.
then later the crowd started getting bigger, andy and a friend joined us, even hadi made an appearance! more like cameo... hit and run! his drinking session was apparently more interesting than hanging out with us! bluek! hahah... oh well... we left after a couple of hours, headed back to my parents place. hubs had his massage session, and he was in total pain! asked him to describe it to me, then he said, however painful it is babes, it wouldn't be the same as your labor pain... if only i could take half the pain away for you... awwww, seriously i thought that was really sweet! loves ya hubs.

"happy birthday haniza bani ramli"
ergh, the thought of having to go to the ante natal class was enough to put me to sleep! haha... so i decided to rest at home first, then meet hubs at the curve for lunch... i so wanted to eat smoked salmon sandwich or something, bodoh la dome they did not have something as simple as that. so i had no choice but to settle for the chicken pie. boo.
then as we got in the car, it was already 130 p.m. the class was starting in half an hour... we drove and went the towards the opposite direction! haha... we headed to bangsar instead and skived off our class... wanted to get my foot massage! tee hee... yes gila, a bit the mengada la! arrived at bumped into the rest of the footie mates!
so decided to chill with them for a while at nirwana... then after we headed straight to sifu, for my blissful foot massage! oh how i have missed it, it has been 2 weeks since i had gotten any. got home and rested. then popped the beef pie in the oven and headed straight to nadia's for the baby shower!
i gotta say i just love her house/apartment... it is extremely beautiful! seriously it is decorated in a matured way... hehe... adults place, i love. all the mommies, and mommies to be were all catching up! place was filled with food and desserts! seriously, it was extremely tempting for each one of us to have double serving of everything... hehee... yes it was that yummylicious. we stayed at her place til 4 a.m. we were playing taboo with the boys, and yes we lost but we fought til the end! and it was extremely a close fight... got home and totally crashed out.

brunch, the usual jim-bengs were suppose to meet up at mike's and sumfink sumfink at jalan gasing, then they changed it to kavita's and then we ended up at sri paandi! all wanted to catch up with malik as he just got back from his cruise trip from europe. gila jealous ok!
seriously today is such a hot day, we were seated there for an hour and a half, then we all decided to leave... couldn't bare the heat. headed back home, and rested... was looking forward for dins, with the footie mates! got ready and left the house at 745 p.m. got ourselves to spices of asia at taman tun, near devi's corner... the set up was nicely done by the organizers!
they had the helium balloons placed at all the tables, accompanied with cupcakes decorated with marzipan as the shape of a ball, and it had the FC Blonde writing! the rest started arriving, and we proceeded with dins and the voting session. they had small papers handed out to us for:
1. player of the match
2. man of the tournament
3. most promising player
4. most loyal supporter
thought it was really cute! then they moved onto the prize giving ceremony! oh yeah did i mention? these boys won the league tournament? seriously they played their HEART out, i was there! trust me on that. anyhoo, after that they had the karaoke session, which was pretty cool! hubs had to sing... haha.. last person ever to do things like that, but these boys will make anything possible. was at home by 1130 p.m. extremely sleepy and tired. not a very good combo aye?

more updates
she's 2.7 kgs! woohoo.
her femur/thigh bone was measured and doc said she's a pretty tall girl, got it from her daddy i guess.
i am officially fatter, i have put on 9 kgs.
doctor said i should try going through labor without epi.
shit, heart sank but i guess she'd know what she's doing. there'll be different pain killers and what not i'm sure.
next week onwards it'll be a weekly check up, instead of every fortnight.
she has also given us a chart to monitor baby's movements every morning for the next 2 weeks! must must must make sure we'd get it right.

i have approximately 24 days, til my due date, however, ramai orang said that i would go way earlier before my due date! so if we were to go by weeks, i'm in my 36th week and 4 days. another 2 weeks should be sufficient!
wow! i can't wait.
we got all her cotbed and changing table all set up at my parents place, her things are all placed there as well, just in case... she decides to pop earlier and say hello to the world before the due date.
some says that i don't look like i've got 2 weeks left as i am still extremely active. i can't stand being all sloppy and feeling all erggh how should i say this, mengah at home! hehe.. if i'm tired i'll take a nap, or just baring. then i'm up and about again.
but i think i should stop sleeping late as this affects her too! poor darling girl, i've been sleeping rather late these past few nights it varies from 1a.m. to 3a.m. oh well... i should and must sleep earlier!
was just thinking about me being in my confinement, oh i'm so going to miss my little babies at home. it'll be such a long time til i can play with my kitties after! but i'm willing to sacrifice that part, just hope hubs and my bro will be able to play and entertain them.

and for you big fans of sex and the city, if you've not seen the movie, shame on you! go go catch the movie. well to some they would say its pretty disappointing cause the emotions is not as strong this time round compared to its series, but like i said heck it! it felt like it was a reunion. i was a happy mommy... it was my quality time with the girls, as in it was carrie, sam, miranda, charlotte and myself. back in new york, in the tiny little apartment - with the extremely elaborated walk in closet. i could not ask for more.

sometimes you just want to strangle them!
we decided to get aira's changing top yesterday at the furniture shop near centre point. we've been meaning to get it but you know we're usually bogged down with things or errands!
but today we weren't so busy, so yeah we got to the shop and started walking and looked around if we were interested in other stuff... i was already getting extremely annoyed that the sales person was just tailing me around, i mean come on! give us some space already... if i do need your help i'll holler la!
so to expedite the process of purchasing the item, we told the sales girl that we'd like this particular model and this particular color. asked her if the discounts were still avail, as what the previous sales person said, the promo will end on the 5th! which was yesterday... she came back and said, oh that does not have the 15% off anymore, the promo ended on Sunday! bloody great!
nevermind, we put all that aside... but just to inform you my BLOOD was at the BOILING POINT already, and i could hear that i was raising my voice... ugly ugly site.
when we were at the counter to pay, we waited like 15 freaking minutes for them to send the item, and when it got there they took the wrong product! freaking hell, what's going on with these people?
okay after another 10 minutes they finally got the right product, then i walked over to pay and i asked them... "do you have any warranty for this item?" you know usually when you purchase these bulk items, it comes with one... the sales guy looked at me and asked... "what kind of warranty you want?" ARGH!! i could just tear my head apart already at this point!!??
it was frustrating, then i said, "well usually established shops would have some sort of warranty if something goes wrong with their item we're able to go back to the shop and get something replaced or whatever the hell la you know!?" he was like, "ohh... yeah can... but don't come back after like 3-4 years everything koyak oredi, then you come complain la..."
i looked at him, seriously all i felt like doing was to KETUK his kepala... i just jeling *which is so totally childish of me, and said no one would be that stupid to do that la... i asked you within a year la... tsk tsk tsk! talk about the art of not L-I-S-T-E-N-I-N-G at all. besterd. make me turn into a monster je.
left the shop, not feeling satisfied even after purchasing my babies item! i kept on repeating to hubs, he was just being an inconsiderate condescending prick! i kid you not.

nadyne aira's s.h.o.w.e.r
i'm totally blessed! really, i am surrounded with extremely beautiful friends...
it wouldn't be as great if i had it without them, seriously...
although yesterday felt like it was such a long day, due to the extremely hot weather, it was bearable due to the company :)
we served finger food, and had all the decos put up... all before 3 p.m. our organizers arrived before 4 just to make sure everything was in order.
slowly but surely our other guests turned up, all wearing pink (yes boys were wearing pink too!) thanks to our so called 'slave drivers' - according to my brother they were dahl & wo! teehee...
well if you ask me they weren't slave drivers they were just merely organizing things... hehhe...
as more arrived, we started the game with 'guess how big the mummy's tummy is'... okay this was hilarious! many were overly confident that they could get it on target, only to learn that they were wayyyy off! this was fun, seriously.
then they moved on to fill in the blanks, some was worried that they would be graded as how it was in school! haha... and some was wondering if they could win a gift based on their creativity, the most creative answer wins... kelakar k?! *muka semua stress-stress*
then proceeded with gobbling of the food, and then to opening of the prezzies!
boy-oh-boy i must admit aira's been rather fortunate, she really got some cool ass prezzies from her aunties and uncles!
really gotta thank you guys for everything that you've done and given us... love love love! :D
