as i was totally done running around and completing my chores, i had the strong urge to pay a little visit to the other new mall, 'the gardens'.
as we were driving around, i can't help but to think to myself, i do not understand why they have to open malls in k.l. which is half completed! it is rather annoying when you are driving around the vacinity of the mall, and looking at the rubbles and more construction materials being placed on the ground or you can still see the scaffolding and stuff! yes, not sight for the sore eye.
it really spoils the mood and ambiance to the mall all-togetherr! you get what i mean? but i so wanted to check this place out so yeah, it did not matter to me.
parked the car and walked towards the entrance, the plastics that was placed on the walls were not properly taken off, and many many more! nevermind, not going to complain for the mo. walked in, and we noticed something in common that we malaysians see and face, ALL the shopping malls here would have the SAME shops or outlets in EVERY different mall. what's the use of it? seriously?!! i wished, someone would have a different approach to it. seriously!!
we headed straight to robinsons as that would be the main reason as to why we picked to visit the gardens anyway... i was quite happy while walking in robinsons, it was well organized! the first floor had the cosmetics area, then the handbags and the shoes, together with some accessories. cool eh?
more on women's apparels on the 1st floor, and half was men, the price range was pretty affordable, well they had the non-affordable stuff too, just that i wasn't interested to check them out. but the highlight of the visit is to look at the HOUSEHOLD stuff/goods. i was in love with what they have to offer their clients...
then we walked out of robinsons after much *beranganness* was put to thought! gila okay, i was excited suddenly and i saw how much i wanted my future house to look like, this and that!
there was another shop that made me really happy and excited too, a shop next to robinsons called 'pavillion' if i'm not mistaken! they had all the cookery from australia, which is rather funky looking and serves its purpose.
i've never felt so sad in my entire life after walking out of a shop and wasn't able to buy anything from it!! but i felt strongly for this. i saw the dough mixer machine, it uses the electricity and all, well designed, *the old school looks* and apparently used by one of the top chefs of australia! asked the price and got extremely disheartened it would have been, a *DAY LIGHT ROBERRY* purchase.
ergh. blegh. bluek. dang. damn. jeng. yeah all sorts of emotions was going through me... owh well, i guess that is a part of life, whereby it'll only be worth every penny when you've spent your own money, only then you learn to appreciate these things.
