up by 820a.m. only to learn that we were 30 minutes late! we were suppose to be up earlier, suppose to be ready by now, suppose to be on the way to pick farouk up, suppose to be in raju's by 9... yeah yeah everything is suppose to this and that. we got ready and got our asses to farouk's whom overslept too!
got to raju's where the rest was already waiting for us, zadey, liana and my bro... wow, its been more than a month since we were last seen at raju's... even the waiter got excited when he saw hubs and i walking towards him, "ehhhh, sudah lamaaaa tarak jumpaaa!! kamu sudah hilang manyak lama...." we smiled politely and uttered something like, "bulan puasa la anee, macam mana mau datang makan??!" gila ke apa?
as soon as azila and iwan arrived we made our way to bulatan pandan, and followed our instincts to get ourselves to the M.O mall. yes, ladies and gents, apparently today we travel in packs and we felt like it was a field trip and those outings when we were 18 or 19 together with friends, except for now everyone has driving license and has a car... not borrowing parents cars to go out anymore... hehe...
instincts was not working in full capacity today, we kept on turning to the wrong lanes, wrong areas, entered the industrial zone, the housing area, you name it we were there! finally, we found taman shamelin! my goodness, this place is not funny man... GILA ULU! looked around and drove around for another 15 minutes, and then we saw the spot light on the M.O mall!
*aahhhhhh* yeay...
entered the mall and walked in the men's section for like 2 seconds, and we said, "ehhh, boys sorry enjoy browsing we're going up stairs to look for ours..." they had loads to look at, clothes, shoes, and handbags, most of their handbags were off by 50% from the high street price, i kid you not... an aigner hand-carry luggage is RM1550 from RM3,600. the brands that they carried was tods, boss, aigner, furla, stuart weitzman, even the ones from the local scene like; melinda looi, farah khan, milo... and many many more... i was happy!! i'm already eyeing a few stuff, but i'll only get it later later later wayyyyy later when i have a great job supported by a huge amount of paycheck!
then we wanted to grab some lunch at restaurant ros 911 which not to my surprise was closed due to it being the 5th day of raya!
lobbied to the boys and we made our way to pavillion instead! hehe, as we were walking up, i smelled donuts and we're talking about the good ones yeah, yesss i was right it was JCO! which originated from Jakarta!
whoo-peee-dooo-deee!! but the queue was a bitch, so we left and looked for a place to eat our lunch, we had no choice as only limited shops were open and limited space was offered due to the lunch hour while we were there. bodohkan? yes very the! ate at pastamania, can do betta than that at home, pay me the money and i shall cook it for ya!! honest to goodness.
i saw my favorite cafe in pavillion being constructed! *the names PAUL! *awesome smowsome, i tell ya* i was just excited and i almost screamed. we walked and viewed the shops there, well to be honest in malaysia any new malls would have the same old shops offered in every goddamn mall, BORING! but pavillion looks good though... that's abourrrr it! it was almost 3 and it was drizzling, we decided it'll be the best time to leave kl back to pj and so we did!
the lesson for todays outing:
1. make sure you know what you want so you don't blow your money on unnecessary things!
2. make sure you know the directions towards the destination, so you don't seem like the stupid expat!
3. get your ass to the bank before you go out in packs, cause that can be rather irritating!
4. never ever get cheerleaders/friends/girlfriends to go with you to expensive boutiques as it'll only be more encouraging for you to purchase those REALLY EXPENSIVE items, and your ass will be broke for the rest of the month.
5. make sure the malls you're headed to, have sections for men so they don't have to follow you around and tell you...
