we made a pit stop at the equatorial hotel for a short while just to see andy, hani, dahlia and loque. andy was asked to perform with "sad angry babies", hope i got that right, i'm not really updated with the bands here... only know bits and pieces. so yeah, we missed the show as we were still at the reception, but we thought it'd be nice to see them nonetheless. (also i had used this opportunity to change into something that was rather comfortable for me, since i was wearing my corset with the whole set and all, hell-freaking-no i wasn't going to the after party in that!) we had invited the rest to join us too, but hani decided to go home, dee was already in front of the club but she was too shy!! (you should have just joined us luv!, it would have been fun).
as we got onto the changkat raja chulan st. we saw nana & izham, so we told them to join us at 21, the more the merrier!
21, wasn't pack it's nothing like the clubs at heritage row. the decor is extremely nice and sleek, they had a modern touch to the place, it had a long glass/mirror facing us. so can you imagine for those who is extremely vain, they could constantly check themselves out! hehe... aside from that this place also has its own balcony, so you're able to enjoy the fresh air of kl. eh wait a min, is there still any in kl? haha, well at least you won't feel stuffy and all with all the smokers around you... so yeah, it wasn't that bad at all. as we waited, more of our friends turned up, even for some of us who sleeps at 11, we were still there... fighting our very own eyes to stay awake and enjoy each others company! as stated earlier.
the music they had played there was rather on the hardcore side or house music for me. after 30 minutes, i almost had a splitting migrane and i was totally dying to jump on to the dance floor and dance, but they just didn't seem to play any of my favorites. ah well, i guess its best that i just sit down and sip my really grossed out soda water! hate the taste of it.
after an hour, they started playing good music. yes, i have and hate to admit, these were old school house music! haha, the ones they played at barbarrans and bliss. as you can see most of us are around the same age group, so yeah we totally enjoyed it! we were happily dancing and shaking away! hehe, everyone was in their own element, enjoying every minute of it! while it lasted, and before any of us complained that out back hurts, or we were getting extremely sleepy and all... "kita semua dah tua"!!
it was extremely fun, we were comfortable with each other... its nothing like having fun with a group of friends that you extremely love and feel comfy with each other, tak payah nak maintain and stuff, coz that kind of outing is rather exhausting! this felt like the good old days...
