we got there at 9:30 a.m. walked in and saw his whole family... i haven't seen his sister didi for almost 1 and a half years! it was great catching up with her and her husband alex. everyone looked excited, the hall was filled of anxious friends and family members, it was a beautiful morning, full of joy and smiles.
then zadey appeared! looking extremely dashing, in his white baju melayu, accompanied by his white samping with silver thread, songkok and not forgetting his bling-bling butang baju melayu. wow, i felt like i was about to get all teary, but don't worry this was happy tears for the both of them...
this was some of the barang hantaran (exchange of gifts) from zadey to liana...
made our way to the hall, was seated with didi and her family, then liana walked into the hall looking extremely stunning in her wedding dress! walking next to her beautiful mom. it was such a nice picture.
then the whole ceremony began with holy versus from the quran, and the taklik was read, and then it was time for zadey to do his part, accepting the offer that was made to him by the tok kadi. he was looking calm as ever, excited yeh dey!!
hehe, he did everything in one lafaz, alhamdulillah. you could see the whole room was filled with happy tears, i felt it to, especially after everything was signed and zadey went around to salam his parents especially his dad. oh gosh, i totally remembered that feeling when i went through it... (still do get tears in my eyes til today every time i think about it)
after all that, food was served, and it was pretty good. they served the usual nasi minyak with its lauk. i was excited to see rini & eleni! sweet baby, my goodness i so wanted to bite her, she's just so adorable trust me on this!! she hardly cries, she's extremely friendly with everyone... she's such a sweety.
