errands, errands and musical

i had a girly session on my own today after dropping hubs for a meeting, i decided i needed a ME time so i headed to the saloon, get my hair done. i know i could wash it at home, but i can't frigging blow dry my hair to perfection, so i rather not kid myself and save me all the trouble and pain.
went around quite a bit today, i was in bangsar village twice, once was to pick up the laundry, and then picked hubs, send him back and headed there again to meet up with my girl friend and the wedding planner!
i was rather worried that she had asked some random aunty to become her wedding planner, not that i'm doubting her at all, i was just worried... hehe, not saying that those aunty will make your wedding worse, its just that there will be loads of protocol and it will be as nitty-gritty and that would contribute to your migrane, if you have none, that will be the start.
however, the wedding planner was just-like-us, excluding the crazy part. she's in the same age group, simple, extremely soft-spoke (nothing like us), she was extremely open to ideas and she had loads to suggests too! it was a good meeting i would say.
as we were having the meeting, i bumped into moms' old friend, she asked what i was doing now... like every other day, i looked at her and replied... "a housewife for now... i'm looking for a job... anything in mind for me?..." and i grinned. she said ohhh... sounds good, you can send me your cv! i'm attached to the bank now and i'm under HR. "alamak... bank la pulak!" maybe. who knows.

we got dressed and left the house at 730p.m. headed towards jalan tun razak! and not to my surprise it was all jammed up... i don't mind being stuck in the jam, i just didn't want to be late for the musical.
as soon as we arrived at istana budaya, the place was swarmed with vips', so we just stood aside and 'people watch'... i like. there were many was properly dressed for the occassion, but there are just some malaysians who still remained ignorant and lived in treehouses. nevermind.
the p.ramlee musical started at 830p.m. and ended by 1130p.m. i have to say, datin seri tiara outdid herself on the musical set!! adlin aman ramlie, was an impeccable director and lyricist. not forgetting zahim albakri, the other director...
i would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the rest of the cast! they did a splendid job...
sean ghazi - p. ramlee
azizah - dato' siti nurhaliza
atilia - junaidah (1st marriage)
melissa saila - norizan (2nd marriage)
liza hanim - saloma (3rd marriage... til the end of time...)
saloma sings these words at the end of the play:
"dan siapakah dia
yang telah berjaya
menghuni di hati
kita semua?
dia telah membawa
makna dan kenangan
cinta yang pertama..." (taken from the program book)
the only thing that i thought should have been incorporated would have to be more of the great allahyarhams original songs...
we left feeling happy, knowing that the one question that the great p.ramlee had, had been answered... he is remembered till today!
it hit midnight, when we were in the car, and it was time for me to wish hubs, "happy birthday!!" hope you had a wonderful eve! i sure did...
