a new found furry a-mi-nal i could love

last night while i was out i saw a rather weird but adorable looking exotic animal, clinging on this guys t-shirt, and out of curiosity i made this extremely "tebal face" and asked him... what animal is that? he said its a sugar glider!

i was intrigued by the a-mi-nals movements, it was just going up and down and it was showing off i guess, by jumping from the guys jeans onto his t-shirt! whoa, i was impressed. seriously. and i took a closer look at it, it has this bulging black eye, with black eye-liner, the fur is rather greyish brown, with darker brown lines on top of it. it also has a long tail, and the fur was so soft when i touched it.




i stood there, asking him loads of questions, he must think i was rather weird or something, but i couldn't help it. i liked his sugar glider. had he not notice (which i doubt in a million years, i would have taken it and ran away with it!) haha... i know that's rather bad of me... well it was just a thought, i wasn't going to do it... i think!

he brought two of the gliders out, one is named "sugar" and the other is "anna" they're both females, he said he did not want them to breed as it is rather difficult to take care of this exotic a-mi-nal! they're nocturnals, so if you're an early sleeper like me, it would be rather difficult to put up with it. they're active, and noisy, i just read an article on the internet... these creatures make funny noises and some of them even described it as barking! this little thing barkes? this i'd like to see and hear... *hint *hint *.



well, i'm seriously thinking of getting a pair for myself. after i lobby, lobby and lobby to hubs to have it in the apartment... :)


checked out more information on them, as for their diet these are the food or diet that i can feed them:

meat/proteins

• shrimp


• brisket


• beef/hamburger


• chicken


• cooked egg (any form)


• meal worm (its disgusting, but if its healthy for them i might consider)

fruits/vegetables

• grapes halved


• apples


• tomatoes halved


• carrots

others

• yoghurt (vanilla or with sweet honey)


• soy yoghurt

so after looking at the diet and reading bits and pieces on it, i might consider... but as you can see aside from the meal worm, they eat what we eat! it should be easy! i hope.

wish me luck! since it's rather hard for me to have a cat in the house, i thought might aswell just have an itsy-bitsy cutesy aminal with me... or two... a pair! (the evil grin!!) - getting greedy here.

still loads to consider for now... thinking, thinking, thinking... maybe some of you may know more about it. do let me know.
