these past few days i've been cracking my head thinking, what in the whole world should i blog about. i'm actually still thinking, i'm just typing for the sake of having a new blog entry (pathetic huh?) can't help it though. i like the fact that i'm just blabbing away, even though i have no aim or objective for this particular blog. i would like to think that i have an author's block! "gila perasan right??" haha... author? nak tulis blog pun dah reconstruct my lines over and over again, if i were to write a book it will take me approximately 15 years i think!! :)
hehe, yes in deed i'm a nut case.
this month is filled with weddings in my calendar, from early july till the end of the month, you know how exhausting it is for us girls/women to decide on our attire. don't even get us started on the hair and all...
say if you had worn one outfit for the wedding you attended earlier this month, it is just forbidden for you to wear the same outfit at the end of the month cause you never know... you might see the same group of friends! GILA RECYCLE! haha, yes call me what ever you want to... "shallow", "gila babi", what ever that tickles your fancy, but that is, in deed the fact of life. and if you (a girl) happens to come across this blog, and disagrees... (who you kidding?) i'm sure you'll be agreeing with my statement.
you know the malay weddings in KL, first is the akad (solemnization) - signing the contract/sealing the deal/some might call it the death contract, "apa-apa lah yeh, it's so not, you don't know what you're missing. then you attend the wedding reception - at the hotel/house/halls/etc then it goes back to the clothes - baju kurung, kebaya, the butterfly tops, will be noticeable by your friends, "eh, isn't this the baju kurung you wore at... this persons wedding?"... then you give that look, you're usually talkative, but this time round, can't catch your tounge! damn... "alamak, malunya!!" so, in my case i like to spice it up a little, mixture of different tops with different (sometimes the batik sarongs don't even have to match the top)... with different accessories and VOILA! hopefully no one notices! haha... mission accomplished, baju re-cycled!
yes you see the dilemma that we women have to go through. and please don't tell me, that no effort is needed. :P i shall give you a long lecture on it! feel free to pass a comment on it... it'll be non-stop-bombardment on your ass!!!

no effort is needed :) seriously...
well lets just put it this way... no effort - means not showering, no shaving, no perfume, no nice looking t-shirts, no gap jeans, no sony mp3 player, no timberland loafers... because even if you had to put on these things takes effort out of one person... and for us pretty vain ladies, it takes more than that! especially on the accessories!
nuff said
oh wait, it'll be great if you could try not putting effort at all, and we'll see the end results. what say you?
anything else smartypants??
I TOTALLY know what you mean! I've had so many weddings over the last two years. AT LEAST 20. So double that cause as you say, there is the akad nikah, or the church service, or the temple, or the tea ceremony, etc. Then the reception at night. And you know what's worse? All the friends who attend those weddings are the same people!! So really cannot recycle!!
People just don't get it when I tell them my dilemma. It is a big problem dammit!!!
And then when it's a wedding outside of the 'circle', I get so excited cause I've then got so many outfits to choose from! :)
but but but... effort is needed when you do something against your will. if it is something you want to do... its passive. its natural. hahahhaa... just kidding. wanted to rattle that cage a little.
Fi, thank you, thank god we're on the same boat. see i told you us women will always understand each other :)
thank god for those occassions outside the 'circle'.
haa... the dilemma... haha so dramatic!
Yes, really. I join told all above. We can communicate on this theme. Here or in PM.
