yes indeed i'm absolutely late with the continuation of my jakarta trip story, but i have to tell you this week has been rather hectic for a full time housewife! well not that i'm totally tied down to my house work, just everything else around me - weddings, birthdays and etc(will get back to it later!)
for now i'm just going to continue bits and pieces the highlight/s of the trip.
jakarta, we arrived at aston sudirman by 6:00 and checked in, what a relief! we were pretty tired from the whole journey. got ready, to go out again cause chika was picking us up! she arrived about 7:00 or so, then we sat watched tv, chatted, and laughed at each other as usual, you know all the updates and stuff. then we left, headed for kemang for dins at dim sum festival after being absolutely full! we left the place and headed for coffee some where near by, so that malik could get his beer and we could have our coffees. just to make sure we let our stomachs settle the dins. the cafe was pretty nice and chic! love the concept, the menu had loads of spells from harry potter which was rather interesting for us.
we were there for an hour or so, then we headed to public to check out the night scene in jakarta. it's pretty different there in jakarta, its really expensive to get a table to yourself, as some told us that to have your own table in the hip clubs will cost you 5.000.000 and we're talking just a table an one miserable bottle! wow, talk about being expensive... we didn't open any table or what so ever, we just sat down and ordered our drinks, well individually. you the thing is, when i'm in jakarta i feel like i have the 'star-struck' feeling all the time. even if they're not actors or actresses, they look so good! they're all well dressed, beautiful and yes, it made me feel like i look like a maid! doesn't matter how well i put my make up on or what so ever, they had the whole package! the hair (yes, they go to saloon almost every weekend, the body, the skin, the dressing! it was just amazing!
after a couple of hours, we had to call it a night! we were rather tired, and my brother was unwell. cikz also had a wedding she was attending to in bandung, so yeah we did not want to occupy her whole night. rather that she goes home to get her beauty sleep, not like she needed any! hihihi.
we just crashed straight away after we changed into our jammies!
oh yeah the whole trip we were humming the ratu song, lelaki buaya darat. seriously after a while it just gets under your skin, thanks a lot malik!! that really screwed my head up.
