i spent almost 2 hours in the kitchen today, i know that seems pretty long and all... but honestly its a great feeling! it's extremely therapeutic for me. well first you have to decide what you're going to cook, and then you have to prep before you cook. once you start the ball rolling its just smooth sailing.
we'll be having dins at in-laws place today, we decided to bring seafood pasta, chicken basque and i've decided to bring something extra smoked salmon with salad on pita bread. (shhh, it's a secret... even hubs doesn't know it yet!!) i like doing something extra, just in case... i don't like the feeling of not having enough food to serve all. so yeay, i was happily cooking and then i realized that i've been wanting to use my oven, but somehow since the last time we tried using it... we discovered that the oven is spoilt. BOO HOO! we thought we should get a new one, or call the technician over. but today my gut feeling was pretty strong on the fact that the oven might just work. so i switched it on, turned all the knobs, and waited for 10 minutes. VOILA!! IT WORKED!! woohooo... i was freaking excited.
you know you can do wonders with the oven... then i started thinking of the next up coming menu:
1. leg of lamb
2. roast chicken
3. baked pasta
4. cakes, cookies, creme brulee (which i have been dying to make)
and more...
i was excited, and i just thought i should share.

OMFG. YOU SO NEED TO TEACH ME HOW TO COOK. ONCE YOU FINISH YOUR TOEFL, IM COMING OVER. YOU CAN TEACH ME HOW TO COOK AND TEACH ME TOEFL OK? I DONT TAKE NO AS AN ANSWER. ILL BE THERE SOON. HAHA.
