daughters week

Daughters will hold your hand for a little while, but will hold your heart for a lifetime. It's "Daughters Week." If you have a daughter who makes your life worth living, tell her that every chance you get.

i love my daughter dearly...

college mates

last weekend, we sneaked some time on saturday to go out for a short neat meet. we finally made it happen, it has been a year ago since i last hung out with these ladies.

auntie lala got married in january, and auntie hani just got her promotion. how great is that?

my daughter is almost 2 this coming september, and i can still remember when we use to meet each other over "teh-o-ais" just cause.

hush and listen

when one speaks to me about their problems and issues, i think the best thing to do is just to listen. not to get emotionally involved, cause that just takes its toll on you.

what do you think?

the weeping weekend

last sunday, i cried.

after a gorgeous morning with the family, i put my tot to bed and rested with her... after the swim and the hearty breakfast we took our shower, only to realize the rest of my toiletries and under garments are packed in hubs' bag. him being him, took his sweet time measuring the apartment for some fixtures, and decided to get ready there instead.

we had a 12.30 lunch date with our usual 'kaki' at kavitha's which i have been looking forward to the whole week, "pathetic" i know. while waiting, there had been too many mis comm happening at the same time.

after half an hour i called hubs and he said he was already on the way to kavitha's, and tears flowed down, WITHOUT ME? why-oh-why? was i left behind? plus i felt vulnerable without those briefs. gah. what made it worse, i had lost it all when i was talking to him which was rather uncalled for. ok, there i admit, i was wrong... and i'm sorry; but i was really upset (in my defense)

all said and done, the day ended pretty great, not in the sombre mood. i spent the whole day with the tot, but left her when we met up with another 'kaki makan' peeps for dins! we headed to bukit bintang for some good seafood, well that was the rave reviews we got... honestly, i think the only good stuff there was the FATTY JUICY PRAWNS with chili padi, utter yummness.
so there, that's how the sunday went.

this is whats left from what we ordered, that says a lot about our LOT, NO?

but i felt i was robbed off the weekend, like as though it did not exist! damn..

i'm looking forward to this coming weekend, maybe there would be more time for me to spend with the tiny tot who is actively running and a super chatter box. everyday, i thank god for her presence in my life. blessed, amin.

obsession?

ok so now i kenot tahan di, it's been days since we've been back and its ever busy during weekdays and i don't even have time to upload our hol pics. dah lah i feel like the break was super short and so tak memuaskan because just as we were enjoying it, we were on the next plane coming back already.

so yeah i guess for those who's studied in australia would come back and tell you the lifestyle there is way better than kl, ok lah whom am i kidding comparing it to kl? someone compared it to london and still preferred melbourne anytime! we were in brisbane for only 10 days and i feel like moving there already. haha... how gila is that? or maybe i totally enjoyed the company i was with, problem free lovelies with lovely set of friends and family members. i heart them.

baby A became pretty attached to them too. so many things can happen in such little time huh? i'm constantly thinking of our experience there, walking by southbank enjoying the breeze with an extremely to die for view of the city + the ibis walking freely + the lovely friendly people there + the citycat + the man made beach + the eateries + the market (with churros). the list just keeps getting longer and longer.

i'm just thinking of my next trip already, hubs suggested end of the year; but i think i rather stay back cause they're coming back to kl then. so looking forward to that.

oh yeah not forgetting, westend has the best rocking langos - hungarian fried dough with few dolloped of sour cream + mozzarella cheese + drizzled by your choice of sauce, to be enjoyed while sitting at the park with the bestest group of friends. blissful.

i heart you brisbane
