thank goodness

we are fortunate, my sister has been discharged.

but we're still wondering, if she really had H1N1... doctor at assunta said there was a possibility of that, but they could not produce the medical records for it.

dazed.

wth is going on there?!

but aside from all that, alhamdulillah... she's good and resting at home not feeling bored/lonely & depressed, from being stuck and all alone in the hosp.

heart broken

my sister has been facing this dreaded ordeal for the last 5 days, she was put in ICU for 3 days and now transferred to the wards, as mentioned she was kept for observation for H1N1... under "suspects" and what i was angry about this hospital was that, last night she was all depressed and extremely keen on wanting to go home... only then the doctor informed our family members that she was confirmed a positive patient!

it broke our hearts.

but i'm praying hard that she'll recover and be back at home in no time, looking at things in a positive light. *insyaAllah*

the doctors mentioned that she has surpassed the critical period of this pandemic influenza; which we are trully thankful for.

but i'm still pissed at the fact that they only decided to inform us, when she was in that state of being extremely sad and depressed after being in the hospital for that amount of days!

please do not take things for granted, the first sign of FEVER, COUGH, FLU, & MUSCLE/JOINT ACHES please get yourselves checked!

saddened

yesterday my sister got admitted to the hospital. she was complaining of headaches and fever. later at night it was difficulty in breathing... we were worried.

but i was put in a worse position when i was about to send my bub for her class, mom called to say that she was going to be admitted to ICU! i think they're taking all measures to make sure its not h1n1. i hate to think of the worse, but i sure hope The Almighty has heard our prayers and grants our doa that we have for her to just get well... *amin*

i really hope so...

i know we have our differences, but we're siblings that's pretty normal... doesn't mean we don't love each other.

she is my dear sister... and i do love her dearly...

anxiously waiting for the results, please recite and pray with us.

high time & all messed up

i think it's official, my bub feels that she needs her independence from me... 11 months and she decided she'd go full on formula, i no longer am required to breastfeed her. sigh.

as much as i am sad, i knew this day would come. but i thank god that with little supply that i had i still managed to pro-long it to 11 months ;)

on a different note all together, i was going through some of the old blog i loved reading and i felt sick to my stomach as i was reading and going through this blog! the beautiful image i once had and respected its country and the ruler has gone down the drain. thanks to the son of Sheikh Zayed who was found guilty of torturing a man. so inhumane!

then i read another article linked from that blog site too - the dark side of dubai. about immigrants and their series of unfortunate events there. why do we have such cruelty in this world?

we are all only humans after all, we need love - we give love; i know i make it seem so easy... but it is not that difficult. why must it all end up with something so harsh filled with cruelty?

after reading these articles, i realized that we, malaysians do take it for granted on so many levels.

i understand that you can't teach old dogs new tricks; but you can always educate and make the changes on your own, least i think that's how we can start and progress.

seeing green, green and green!

as i have been occupying my self to do more research for our client, all i have been doing is reading up on going green.

how you can contribute to make our mother nature feel more appreciated. there are small things that you can do to play your part as a responsible consumer!

first things first, the WORLD WIDE PLASTIC BAG FREE day will commence on the 12 of September 2009. Just for 1 day you go out shopping without having to take plastic bags from your retail outlets. be responsible enough to use your eco-friendly bags or easier put reuse your recyclable shopping bags! (but you need not to wait til then, do it in your next outing!)

if you are a compulsive shopper @ our local supermarkets i'm sure you have noticed that they have been doing thier part for the environment. this is one of my fav designs for the reusable shopping bag!

GET HIP, GO GREEN!

-reuse, reduce & recycle!-

aqiqah, tahlil and the whole works

okay so it has been a while since i last blogged. nothing much to catch up on. aside from work, outings, a few new goss, bub and all life is just same ol' same ol'.

however, last weekend took the cake.

we decided to do her jejak tanah on the 18th, as her descendants are from Sumatra and her Rawa lineage; but the whole idea and preparation got shot down. she has to wait til she turns 13 months old, apparently there's some signifance to that, shall abide.

the show must go on... we fulfilled our responsibility as to perform her aqiqah, which was "sempurna" as the malays would put it. alhamdulillah.

since the passing of my opah was last wednesday, we decided to coincide the whole kenduri for that too. so all her cucu gathered.

friends came and feasts with us the little we had to offer - soto ayam, hokkien mee, baked pasta, lamb and kuih bakar, along with the famous cupcakes + cookies from amy!

i'm just glad we were able to complete the kenduri with little hiccup.

can you imagine my baby bub is turning 1 in 49 days time?

how time flies. okay bai.

listening to: hellogoooooodbyeeeee - baby, it's fact! *on repeat* - bani you got me hooked!
